EMERGENCY/CLOSINGS

This Emergency Information Page will provide up-to-date information on emergency closings due to inclement weather on evenings, weekends and holidays. If schools are closed for community activities, an announcement will also be placed on local media stations and on 240-777-2710.

Cancellation of weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) community activities scheduled in schools will be made by the Director of Community Use of Public Facilities office by 7:00 a.m. The above notification process will be implemented immediately to inform user groups. Please always check the mainline message and this page. The media may or may not include the government buildings in their cancellation announcements.
