There are many denominations and sects whose unique identity rests upon lines of division concerning various Christian doctrines.

Many, if not all these dear children of God, sincerely love the Lord and earnestly endeavor to
seek His presence. Many, also, however, have found it difficult to bridge the gaps of doctrinal differences for the sake of unity.

“and He Himself gave some…for the equipping of the saints, for the work of ministry,
for the edifying of the Body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and
of the knowledge of the Son of God…that we should no longer be children,
tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine…”
-excerpted from Eph. 4:11-14.

There are many things that we, individually and corporately, accept as truth, however, so as to contribute toward the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, we list here the “essential” foundations of our faith – those undeniable, and largely undisputed truths that edify us
as the Body of Christ and equip us for the urgent work of ministry.

It is our prayer that those who are weary of being tossed to and fro by the many divisions
among Christians today, will take comfort in the simple unity we have found as we agree
upon these “essential” elements of the Gospel.
