Kingdom Life Community's Pastor and Founder, John Thompson, answered the Lord's call to establish this work in the fall of 2009. Led by the Holy Spirit, he convened spiritual leaders, friends and committed partners together for a season of prayer and fasting. Following a series of Partner's gatherings and prayer meetings and more than a year of planning and preparation, Kingdom Life Community officially opened its doors to the community in September 2011.
John, along with Andrea, his college sweetheart and wife of more than 30 years, has a passion for cultivating the reality of the Kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of believers. Together, their message of faith, hope, and encouragement challenges believers to live a life of radical obedience to the Word of God. Whether preaching or teaching, John and Andrea are committed to issuing a singular call to the body of Christ and the world: "Come into the Kingdom!"
They are the proud parents of three young adults and the grandparents of three. They reside in Montgomery County, Maryland.
